1969 – 2011
Nate Dogg has passed away at the age of 41. Details of his death have yet to be released, but he had suffered a stroke in both 2007 and 2008, the first one leaving the left side of his body paralyzed. Nate Dogg was an invaluable asset to the second Golden Age of Rap, know as the G-Funk Era. And although his name might not be known by those who were not listening to hip-hop in the mid-90’s/early-oo’s, his voice should be recognizable by all. He contributed his signature deep vocals to Dr. Dre‘s The Next Episode, 2Pac‘s All ABout U and Skandalouz, E-40‘s Nah Nah, Snoop Dogg‘s Bitch Please and Lay Low, as well as Warren G‘s inescapable Regulators, along literally hundreds of others.
